DoubleSafety - Online help

"Encryption" tab

You can enable strong AES encryption (Advanced Encryption Standard) with the key length from 128 to 256 bits. It will allow you to protect backup files from other people. Mind that only the DoubleSafety Restore Data wizard can restore encrypted backups.

"Encryption" tab

Encryption algorithm - Choose whether you need to encrypt backups and if yes, select the encryption type. Mind that 256-bit encryption is slower, but provides more secure protection.

Password - Specify the password for encrypting the backups. If you forget the password, you will not be able to restore the information. Note that the password is case-sensitive.

Confirm the password - Specify the password once again to make sure you made no mistake the first time.
